Porches Pottery is a small team dedicated to keeping alive the art of hand-painted pottery. Founded in 1968, we continue to uphold the traditions that have shaped our work for nearly 60 years. If you’re drawn to traditional craftsmanship and would like to be part of this ongoing story, we’d be pleased to hear from you.
Current roles available:
We’re currently looking for reliable, practical people to join our team in the following roles:
- Office Administrator – organised, confident with emails, phones, and basic admin tasks. Fluent spoken and written Portuguese and English are essential for this role.
- Sales Assistant – friendly, presentable, and happy talking with visitors in our shop. Fluent spoken English is essential for this role.
- Packing & Shipping Assistant – careful, hands-on work preparing orders for delivery.
- Pottery Painter – We’re looking for someone calm, steady, and patient — someone who finds quiet satisfaction in making something meaningful. You don’t need to be a trained artist or have a creative background; many of our painters have come from other hands-on roles and learned their skills here.
- Café - Our newly renovated café is looking for people with relevant experience in hospitality, both front of house and in the kitchen.
